Frequently Asked Questions
How far in advance should I book?
For weddings, I recommend booking 12-18 months in advance to secure your date, especially for peak season (May-September). For other events, 3-6 months notice is typically sufficient.
What deposit is required to secure my date?
A £100 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date, with the remaining balance due 28 days before your event.
Can I request specific songs?
Absolutely! After booking, we will arrange a meeting to discuss your preferred music styles and genres. I'll make notes of 'must plays' and 'most not plays' and build my set list to create unforgettable memories at your event.
Do you provide lighting for the venue?
Yes, all packages include dance floor lighting. Venue uplighting is available as an additional add-on and can be customised to match your colour scheme.
What is your DJ style?
I aim to bring a modern approach to my DJ performances. My style suits couples and clients who want a high-energy performance, as opposed to a standard 'disco' where the DJ plays one full song after another.
Do you take song requests?
Yes! I welcome song requests before and during the event. However, I always read the crowd and ensure requests enhance the energy of the party. Not all requests are created equal!
Do you work with live musicians?
Yes! I've worked with some amazing musicians over the years, particularly saxophonists. If you've already found one you love, I'm happy to collaborate with them to create an incredible show. If not, I can recommend some incredibly talented musicians for you to consider.
Are you insured?
Yes, I have full Public Liability Insurance and all of my equipment is PAT tested to meet venue requirements.
How long have you been DJing?
At 14 I started creating mixes on YouTube that gained tens of thousands of plays. 16 years later, my love for DJing has only grown to where it is today - having performed live hundreds of times, international nightclubs. I'm extremely passionate about what I do, and I'm sure I'll still be going in 60 years from now, too!
What equipment do you provide?
All packages include a professional sound system, dance floor lighting, and high-end Pioneer DJ decks. Venue uplighting packages and wireless microphone hire is available upon request.
